Part of the San Miguel Firefighters Association directive is preserving and enhancing the history of the San Miguel Fire Department and the town of San Miguel.

- Restoration of a 1940 Ford Van Pelt Engine
- Building a firefighters training facility at the San Miguel Water Treatment Plant
- Purchasing workout equipment for the San Miguel Fire Department
